About
Overview
Sioma Ngwezi National Park is a remote park located in Zambia's southwestern corner, bordering Angola and Namibia. Covering 5,276 square kilometers, it's characterized by Kalahari woodlands and is one of the least developed parks, offering a true wilderness experience.
Highlights- Untouched Landscapes: Vast tracts of unspoiled wilderness with minimal human impact.
- Wildlife Migration: Part of the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area, facilitating wildlife movement between countries.
- Birdlife: Over 300 bird species, including rare and migratory birds.
Visitors can enjoy self-drive safaris, bird watching, and cultural visits to nearby villages. Due to its remote nature, facilities are limited, and travelers should be self-sufficient.
